MASTER PROGRAM IN CLIMATE CHANGE

Climate change is a highly interdisciplinary science and its content includes the knowledge of various fields. The Master Program in Climate Change is the master program first organised in Vietnam in this field.

MASTER PROGRAM IN SUSTAINABILITY SCIENCE

The master program in sustainability science aims at training high quality human resources knowledgeable about the sustainability related issues in the fields of decision making, environment, education and economics in order to satisfy the demands of governments and localities for the implementation of nations’ target of sustainable development. In addition, this program also aims at providing human resources for international integration, exchange and participation in international forums on sustainable development.

MASTER PROGRAM IN URBAN DEVELOPMENT MANAGEMENT

Vietnam is one of the nations that have the fastest speed of urbanisation. Urbanisation and population growth result in the increase in land use, construction space, job demand, services, utilities and etc. Now, the urbanisation in Vietnam is facing many disadvantages such as strategy -policy making, unsystematical and uninterregional development management, momo-disciplinary development management. Thus, it is essential to change the thinking about management and urban development in order to turn the urban potentials into the motivations for economic development in the context of the industrial revolution 4.0.

VNU SCHOOL OF INTERDISCIPLINARY STUDIES

With the decision by the President of VNU in March 2018, the School of Interdisciplinary Studies (SIS) is the first unit in Vietnam to conduct the pilot master program in urban development management .
