2. Educational objectives

Graduates from this program are expected to earn background knowledge; academic and supplementary insight in records management and archives to practice fundamental professional duties; assist leaders in managing records and archives; research and lecture on these aspects

GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS

  1. Courses and professional abilities
    1. Courses

Graduates have thorough theoretical knowledge in the educated major; apprehend the techniques and have practical knowledge to resolve complex tasks; have main knowledge about basic principles; natural and social rules in the educated field, in order to develop comprehension and have ability to continue to the higher education; have knowledge about management, execution, law and environmental protection related to educated major and have particular knowledge and ability in following subjects:

Understand and well apply the theory of document studies, information science, information for leadership and management, general archival studies

- Have a thorough grasp and well apply academic knowledge of document studies and records management including: history, document in operation,  information for leadership and management; state/organization management of records

- Understand and well apply knowledge in practice; collect and process information; analyse and initiate solutions to enhance the effect of operation

    1. Autonomous ability and responsibility

Having leading skills in educated major and proposing emerging issues in appointed missions; good self-orientation  and effectively adapting to diverse working environment; constantly self-educating to update researching and working abilities; good abilities to finalize specific issues of related work; excellent skill in planning, coordinating and exploiting collective ideas; excellent possibilities and innovating academic duties at an average level.
