TOURISM AND TRAVEL MANAGEMENT PROGRAMME

I.Standard outcomes of trainning programme

1. About knowledge and professional competence

1.1. About knowledge

Students graduates of the training program with in-depth theoretical knowledge in the field of training; mastering technical and practical knowledge to be able to solve complex tasks, accumulating knowledge platform on the basic principles, the laws of nature and society in the field are trained to develop new knowledge and be able to continue their studies at a higher level; have knowledge about management, administration, law and environmental protecting related to the field of training and specific knowledge and professional capabilities as follows:

1.1.1. Understanding the interdisciplinary knowledge of economic issues, political, social, cultural and scientific-related applications in tourism

1.1.2. . Understanding the basic knowledge and depth of tourism science

1.1.3. Have knowledge about research tourism science

1.1.4. Have ability to use basic language skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing equivalent to level 3 under the framework of foreign language competence level 6 for Vietnam

1.2. Capacity autonomy and responsibility

Ability to guidance in trained professional, major; have the initiative in the process of performing the tasks assigned; capable of self-oriented, adapting to different working environments; self-learning; accumulating knowledge, experience to enhance their professional qualifications; have the ability to make a conclusion about the professional and common operational matter and some technical complex problems; capable of planning, coordinating, promoting collective wisdom; capable of evaluating and improving professional activities in medium size.

2. About skills

2.1. Professional skills

Having professional skills, ability to argue/thinking and solving problems in tourism, services, research and discover tourism knowledge, ability to to apply theoretical knowledge to practical tourism professional, creative, develop and lead the change in tourism careers

2.2. Supporting skills

Acquiring personal skills, work in team, ability of management and leadership, communication skills, foreign language skills and other supporting skills.

3. Standard outcomes of moral qualities

Having personal moral qualities, professional ethics and social ethics
