INTRODUCTION

Climate change is a highly interdisciplinary science and its content includes the knowledge of various fields. The Master Program in Climate Change is the master program first organised in Vietnam in this field.

 

Training Target

The master program in climate change aims at training high quality human resources in order to satisfy the social demands for the implementation of the target program of climate change reaction. In addition, this program also aims at providing human resources for international integration, exchange and participation in international forums on climate change.

 

Output Standard

Students will be provided with knowledge about climate change, measures for climate change impact mitigation and climate change adaptation in order to serve the strategies and policies on sustainable development on the global, national and local scales. Apart from acquired knowledge, students will be also provided with the skills of building the mechanisms, policies and action plans for climate change adaptation, and consulting the policies and strategies for sustainable development. Through it, students gradually master the knowledge about climate change and apply it creatively to solve problems in life.
