On Jan 17th, 2018, The Master’s Program in Infrastructure Engineering (MIE) at Viet Nam Japan University (VJU), Vietnam National University will organize the first international seminar in 2018 with topic "Roles of Universities and Academic Societies in Infrastructure Engineering in Vietnam and Japan”
Time: 08:00am – 1:00pm, Jan. 20th (Sat.), 2018
Venue: Room 415 – 416, My Dinh Campus of VJU (Luu Huu Phuoc Street, My Dinh 1, Hanoi).
The event will have the participation of experts and the support of Japan Society of Civil Engineers (JSCE); Vietnam Federation of Civil Engineering Associations (VFCEA) and Vietnam Bridge and Road Association (VIBRA).
Participants in the workshop are students, lecturers, researchers, associations, government organizations, enterprises operating in the field of infrastructure engineering.
In 2017, despite its young age, VJU and the Master’s Program in Infrastructure Engineering in particular have shown their role as a bridge between organizations, businesses and universities in Vietnam and Japan by a series of workshops, meetings and memorandums of cooperation in training and human resource development.
This seminar will be the opportunity for Vietnamese professional associations, universities, and private firms together with Japan Society of Civil Engineers (JSCE) and Vietnam Japan University (VJU) to discuss the roles of universities and academic societies in infrastructure engineering in Vietnam and Japan. At the same time, this event was organized with the goal of explore future collaboration and to expand human network between Vietnam and Japan on academic research and education in the field of infrastructure engineering.
