Special Advisor to the Japanese Prime Minister to visit and lecture at Vietnam Japan University, VNUHN

On December 12, 2017, Mr. Sonoura Kentaro - Special Advisor to the Prime Minister, Former Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs of Japan will visit and deliver a short lecture to students of Vietnam Japan University (VJU), Vietnam National University, Hanoi (VNUHN).

 

Besides Mr Sonoura Kentaro, VJU is honored to welcome  representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan and Embassy of Japan in Vietnam. 

 

Mr Sonoura Kentaro's lecture is to be held  at Room 415, VJU My Dinh campus from 8:50 to  9:30 on December 12, 2017.  Sonaro's visit reaffirmed attentiveness of the Government of Japan towards VJU.

 

 

Mr Sonoura Kentaro was a journalist before serving important roles in the Government, including the Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs and currently theSpecial Advisor to the Japanese Prime Minister. The experienced politician is currently responsible for issues related to foreign and educational policies. In his lecture, Mr.Sonoura Kentaro plans to share with VJU students about issues in international relations , with focus on Japan's efforts in promoting development and prosperity of the India-Pacific region, including Vietnam. It would provide useful information to the VJU students, especially those majoring in Area Studies and Public Policy.
