Student Residence Center (now Center for Student Services) was established under the Decision No 438 / QĐ-TCCB dated 21/10/1995 of the Director of Hanoi National University on the basis of merging 3 dormitories of the 3 universities (the Graduate School of Education at the University of Hanoi), KTX Teacher Training College of Hanoi Teachers College, foreign language dormitory of the University of Foreign Languages Hanoi) and the medical station University (former).
In December 1999, the Teacher Training Center was separated from Hanoi University of Education and separated from the Hanoi National University. In May 2012, the medical station was transferred to Hanoi National University Hospital.
On 7/1/2009, the Director of Hanoi National University issued the Decision No 52 / QĐ - TCCB on adding functions and duties and renaming the student residence center into the Center for Student Services.
In December 2014, VNU signed a contract with the Hanoi Department of Construction to hand over two units in My Dinh II urban area and issued Decision No. 355 / QD-DHQGHN dated January 23, 2015 of the National University Hanoi on the establishment of My Dinh dormitory under the Center for Student Services.
To date, the Center for Student Services has an organizational structure including: Administration - Organization Department; Financial Planning Division; KTX Foreign Languages; KTX Me Tri; KTX My Dinh.
