Informatics and Computer Engineering

INTRODUCTION

- Major: Bachelor in Informatics and Computer Engineering

- Foreign parner: Moscow Power Engineering Institute (MPEI)

- Mode of study: Full time in VNU-IS with degree awarded by Vietnam National University, Hanoi (after completing the 2nd academic year, student may apply to transfer to MPEI, Russia to receive Bachelor’s Degree in Informatics and Computer Engineering in compliance with Russian standards).  

- Language of instruction: English

- Duration: 4 years

- Degree: Bachelor of Informatics and Computer Engineering

The program is designed to provide students with knowlege and practices in electrical engineering, electronics, communications, software design, hardware design, and hardware-software integration. After graduation, they can work in a variety of computer-related fields, from the design of single computer systems, personal computers and mainframes, to micro design of integrated circuits, programming of embedded systems, integration of computer systems in a variety of electrical and electronic applications. The graduates will have mastered techniques and practical knowledge necessary to complete complicated tasks in the areas of computer technologies.

Therefore, the Informatics and Computer Engineering is a training major that meets the urgent requirements of the country's economy and social defense, closely linked to the great programs of our country in the process of industrialization and modernization as well as integration with the region and the world.
