1. Program Overview

The Master program in Business Administration at Vietnam Japan University has the following objectives:

          - Equip students with scientific methods of reasoning and comprehensive knowledge, as well as specialized expertise in the business administration field

          - Explain the basic philosophy and practices of business in Vietnam and worldwide, with special emphasis on Japanese-style management and sustainability

             - Provide students with a deep understanding of business ethics, corporate culture and corporate social responsibility.

Duration: 24 months

Training Method: Fulltime

Teaching language: Vietnamese and English

Location: Vietnam Japan University – My Dinh Campus

 "The MBA program at VJU will expose students to an eye-opening opportunity to study business and management in a proactive and creative manner. Strong commitment by highly motivated students shall be needed to accomplish the challenging and rewarding program. The curriculum emphasizes the sustainability or triple bottom line, the impact of national and organisational culture, and Japanese-style management in the global business setting. MBA students will tackle the internship program at a Japanese university and/or business enterprise for three months in their second year and enjoy learning a lot about the realty of Japanese business, its market and society. Students will be expected to perform significant and creative research activities with the professors at VJU, based on the comprehensive coursework and exciting internship practicum. We are going to get ready to receive and lead those prospective students very soon. Why don’t you join us in the next autumn and pioneer a new frontier of business management towards the 2020s.”

5. Curriculum

7. Admission Information

Admission requirements

Admission capacity: 20 students per intake
Admission requirements
1/ University graduation in the same, relevant or closely related disciplines with GPA ≥ 2.5/4.0

2/ Candidates who have GPA ≥ 2.8/4.0 are not required to have work experience. Candidates who have 2.5 ≤ GPA < 2.8 are required to have two years of work experience.

3/ English proficiency requirements:

For official enrollment: Level 4/6 (IELTS 5.0-5.5) in Vietnamese reference framework for foreign language (Circular No.01/2014/TT-BGDĐT) or equivalent.
