Major: International Economics (HONORS Program)
Degree: Bachelor
Duration: 4 years of full- time study
2. Program objectives:
Training Bachelor of International Economics, who are capable of working, analyzing, researching, teaching and implementing activities in the field of international economics at enterprises, universities, institutions and other organizations; be able to continue study to participate in higher education, to gain experience to become leaders, experts in international economics.
3. Career orientation for Bachelor of International Economics:
Group 1 - Marketing officer in the fields of foreign element: Having capacity to work in domestic enterprises, joint ventures or 100% foreign capital enterprises; may undertake positions relating to the supply chain, import export, logistics, delivery, transport, development of international markets, payments, international credit, assistant for the international negotiation and conclusion of commercial contract; future prospects can become entrepreneurs, managers in the field of International Economics.
Group 2 - Policy consultant and analyst: Being capable of working in ministries, local domestic and international organizations such as ILO, ADB, IMF, World Bank, NGOs... May undertake the following tasks: participating in the implementation of international projects; analyzing assistant and advice on issues the world economy and international economic relations such as international trade, international investment, international finance... ; future prospects can become analyst and policy consultant in the field of international economics.
Group 3 - Research and lecturer: Being able to research and teach at universities, educational and research institutions; can undertake the positions such as: participating in research issues related to world economy and international economic relations, teaching assistants; teaching subjects such as: international economics, international economics of Vietnam, international trade, international investment and international finance... Future prospects can become lecturers, senior researcher in international economics.

1. Knowledge competence
Applying general knowledge on career and life.
Applying knowledge of mathematics, natural science and basic international economics knowledge on dealing with theoretical and practical issues relating to the major.
Applying the basic knowledge of international trade, international investment as well as professional knowledge of international trade, transport and insurance in international trade, international payment... to work in the field of international economics.
Employing the knowledge of practice and probation, bachelor to fulfill the assigned tasks.
Employing the theoretical and practical knowledge to analyze, synthesize and deal with specific research issues in international economics.

2.1. Professional skills:
Having the capability of reasoning, thinking systematically; researching and solving issues in the fields of international economics.
Having professional reasoning skills, detecting and solving problems in the field of international economics.
Having the awareness of social context, external and organizational context to apply to international economics activities.

2.2. Soft skills:
Having the ability to work independently and in team; self-learning and research, working due to plans and scientifically; having time management skill, individual assignment allocating.
Having good communication skills (presentation and negotiation skills in business; transaction skill via telephone, e-mail), communicate in English of 4.0 IELTS competence or higher.
Having ability to use Microsoft Office proficiently (Word, Excel, Power Point) and statistical software (SPSS, EViews…), internet and office equipment.
3. Personality:

III. Conditions of program implementation:
Students are provided with personal account to register the credit, follow up the academic schedule, results and download the course outline from student Portal system; accessing the reference system and updated textbook and data at the Center for Information and Documentation - VNU and Documentation Office of the University of Economics and Business.
Training in credit; sophomores and juniors are sent to a probation course in enterprises or economic organizations.
